The logomark derived from a folk legend of Zio Pino and his wild boar from northern Italy. The legend goes: Zio Pino owns one of the largest white truffle farms in the region. Years ago, there was no truffle on the property until he heard a tapping at his door one evening. He opened the door, and a single wild boar stood looking at him hungrily. So Zio Pino fed him. The next day he found several kilos of white truffle. The next evening there was a knock at the door again, the same boar and two friends. The next day several more kilos of truffle. That continued for weeks, and now to this day, he feeds upward of 52 wild boars every night, and in the mornings, he finds more truffles than anyone else in the region.
